Nothing to Crow About

In the latest sign of his vulnerability, John Sweeney (R-NY) thinks he can bribe the people of this district into voting for him. As usual, his boasting is off the mark. Capitol Confidential reported that:

...When Sweeney was asked why the big announcement for a routine appropriation, he said he’s brought more money to CDTA and the area than anyone, ever.

But when he asked CDTA Chairman Dave Stackrow for backup on that, Stackrow couldn’t deliver.

“There was Senator D’Amato,'’ he said.
