Sweeney Invites Radio Host. (Doh!)

Thanks to the WFP Blog for this one: Sweeney's staff is telling people that he doesn't invite folks to the vacation we pay for every year. And Sweeney is on the radio telling the host:

"Sweeney: And, uh, we've invited media in the past, and I'm going to invite you next time, Fred."

Looks pretty clear: Sweeney sees this as his personal event. He invites those he has to thank or suck up to for some reason or another. He draws up the list and has some one else mail the invite, that doesn't cut it. He's like Bush, just tell him the laws and he can sneak around them.
